Blueward Marine is the yacht technical services brand of Bluebnc Spain SL (CIF B10576908), Camí Canal de Sant Jordi 29, Warehouse 1, 07610 Palma, Illes Balears, Spain. Bluebnc Spain SL is the data controller for the personal data described on this page. You can reach us at info@bluewardmarine.com or +34 971 251 374.

What we collect

When you book a service, request a call back, send the contact form or leave a review, we collect what you give us:

  • your name, telephone number and, if you add it, your email address
  • the yacht's name, the marina or location, and the service you need
  • your description of the fault, the photos you upload and your messages with our AI technician assistant
  • for reviews: the review text, the name you choose to display and your publication consent

We also record technical details needed to run and protect the service: the time of each step, the page where you started, the website or campaign that brought you to us (for example a search engine, or a link with campaign tags), your browser type and a one-way hashed version of your IP address. We never store your IP address in readable form.

Why we use it

PurposeLegal basis
Handling your service request, quoting and arranging the workSteps you ask us to take before a contract, and the contract itself (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b))
Calling you back and keeping a job sheet our engineers can readYour consent and pre-contract steps (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b))
Publishing a reviewYour explicit publication consent (Art. 6(1)(a)); you can withdraw it at any time
Preventing spam and abuse (rate limits, hashed IP)Our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure (Art. 6(1)(f))
Understanding which pages and channels bring enquiriesOur legitimate interest, using anonymous, cookieless statistics (Art. 6(1)(f))

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. The AI technician assistant helps describe the fault; a person on our team reviews every request.

Who processes it for us

  • Our website platform (Manus) hosts the website, the database and the uploaded photos, delivers request notifications to our team, and provides the AI service that powers the technician assistant. Your messages and photos are sent to that AI service to generate the assistant's replies.
  • Anonymous website statistics are collected with a cookieless analytics tool provided through the same platform. It does not set cookies or identify you.
  • Within Bluebnc Spain SL, only the people who handle service requests can see them.

Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer must be covered by a GDPR safeguard such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep service request records, including photos and messages, for as long as we need them to handle the job and to meet our legal obligations, for example Spanish accounting and tax rules where work is invoiced. Requests that never become a job are deleted when they are no longer needed. You can ask us to delete your data earlier unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing that took place before. Email info@bluewardmarine.com with your request reference if you have one.

If you think we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es).
