Part of our service
WatermakersSea Recovery watermakers use reverse osmosis. The described process includes seawater pre-filtration followed by semi-permeable membrane filtration at high pressure.
Aqua Whisper Pro units have semi-automatic operation, with a pressure adjustment for changing feed-water conditions, and a touchpad control panel. The range is available in compact and modular configurations, so access and layout should be reviewed before a service visit.
Ultra Whisper units operate from 12VDC or 24VDC supplies. Sea Recovery describes an Energy Transfer Device in place of a high-pressure pump, so engineers assess the DC supply and relevant water-flow path for the installed configuration.
Coral Sea systems have automatic operation, an LCD touch screen and safety sensors. Sea Recovery states that a system can shut down when pre-filter maintenance is required or an operating-pressure limit is exceeded, making the alarm history, feed condition and pressure control key first checks.
We service the installed Sea Recovery watermaker in line with the manufacturer schedule and its recorded running history. The visit covers a condition inspection, operational checks and a clear record of findings.
We inspect the intake path, strainers, pre-filtration, hoses, valves and connections for restriction, air ingress or leakage. This is particularly important after lay-up or when warm seawater and long running hours load the system.
We investigate low output, unstable operation and poor water quality by checking feed conditions, operating pressure, flow and the reverse-osmosis section. We then isolate the fault before recommending repair work.
Our engineers read available panel information and inspect supply, protection, cabling, connections and control inputs. On models with display controls, we use the recorded alarm information to guide the diagnostic sequence.
We carry out agreed repairs to applicable pumps, valves, pipework, filters, electrical components and associated connections. After winter lay-up or repair, we commission the system, check for leaks and confirm stable operation.
Book online, upload photos of the problem and our AI technical assistant asks the follow-up questions an engineer would ask. Our team receives a structured job brief, so the right technician arrives with the right parts.

| The watermaker runs but produces much less fresh water than normal. | We first check the seawater intake, strainer and pre-filters for restriction, then verify feed flow and operating pressure. We also assess the reverse-osmosis section and product-water routing once the basic supply conditions are correct. |
| The unit alarms or stops on a pressure condition. | We record the displayed message and inspect pre-filter condition, feedwater flow, pressure sensing and the high-pressure plumbing. The control settings and safety inputs are then checked against the documentation for the installed unit. |
| The watermaker will not start, or stops as soon as it starts. | We begin with the electrical supply, protection, connections and available control indications, then check interlocks and seawater valves. The test is carried out with the yacht's operating conditions and safe access in mind. |
| Product water quality is outside the normal reading or taste expectation. | We first confirm the reading or take a sample as appropriate, then inspect pre-treatment condition, operating pressure, membrane condition and product-water routing. The cause is identified before the unit is returned to normal use. |

The more of this we have, the better our chances of arriving with the right parts. The online booking asks for it step by step.
Yes. Our engineers can attend yachts at berths, shipyards and anchorages in Mallorca and throughout the Balearic Islands. Send the berth or anchorage position, access arrangements, model and fault details when booking. For an anchorage visit, tell us whether safe alongside access or tender transfer is available, and whether the system can be run safely for diagnosis.
The scope follows the manufacturer schedule and the condition of the installed system. We identify the unit, review its running history, inspect the seawater feed and pre-filtration, examine pumps, high-pressure plumbing, membranes and electrical connections, then run and assess the system. Findings and any recommended repair work are set out before work proceeds.
If the unit alarms or shuts down, note the message or code, take a clear panel photo and avoid repeated reset attempts. Check that the seawater intake and electrical supply are available if it is safe to do so. Call our 24/7 emergency line. Blueward Marine publishes an assessment and quote within two hours of contact, with emergency response within two hours.
